Why do I keep getting a busy signal or no answer?
We have 4 incoming/outgoing lines. At many times in the day these lines get tied up. Also during most of the day there are people in the store that we are attending too. We try our very best to service everyone in store, on the phone, by fax, or email. If you get a busy signal when you call please try us back at a later time. If you do not get an answer but are directed to the voice mail system please leave a message on the appropriate voice mailbox that deals with your inquiry. We answer all messages in a timely fashion. Why was my email not replied to?
We respond to all emails within a 24 hour period. Please be aware of our hours of operation, time zone, and the possibility of technical difficulties. What size of goal gear do I need?
We have taken the time to look at every piece of gear that we offer. We have also used our manufacturers' sizing guides to make them available to you, our valued customer. Furthermore, we have taken sizing further by offering recommendations on gear sizing based on how a product is worn by each and every individual. When asking us to help make size recommendations, please provide us with the information we need to correctly suit you and your attributes. We require your age, height, weight, skate size, inside of ankle bone to center of knee cap in the front of the leg measurement, level of play, frequency of play, technique, and key attributes. Shipping costs from The Goalie Crease are based on weight of product purchased, size of package needed to safely ship product purchased and finally the destination in relation to The Goalie Crease. We use Purolator Courier as much as possible. Purolator Courier provides us and you with the best rates, quickest shipping times, and a very high level of care for each and every package. I am overseas, what is the cost and time of shipping?
The Goalie Crease uses Canada Post to ship most overseas packages. Our preferred method is Air Mail. The cost is a little higher than Surface Mail. We recommend Canada Post Air Mail for the following reasons. Anything sent via Canada Post Air Mail will arrive in 5 to 10 business days. Canada Post Air Mail allows us and you to track a package until it is safely in your possession. Canada Post Air Mail cost is based on the actual size and weight of the package. The larger and heavier the package, the more it costs to ship. We will ship via Canada Post Surface Mail upon your request but it is not recommend or endorsed. Surface Mail is not possible to track. Shipments usually take from 4 to 12 weeks to arrive, making it very difficult to predict an arrival date or protection of your valued purchase. The cost of shipping via Surface Mail is based on the actual package size and weight. The cost of Surface Mail is not significantly lower than Air Mail.
Please be aware that sticks can not be shipped via Canada Post. There are length restrictions on packages, making sticks too long to be shipped via Canada Post Services. For stick purchases we can ship via Purolator Courier. Packages take 5 to 7 business days to arrive. The cost is based on dimensional size and weight. Tracking is available on all packages.
Can I get the tracking number for my order?
