Well folks, the 2009/2010 season is fast approaching and The Crease has been firing up the engines, in order to get you all set up for another season of the best sport on earth! New gear has been rolling in the door daily at The Crease and we are keeping true to our motto of offering the best service, pricing and quality to all of our very loyal customers!

Since the launch of this website, our business has certainly grown leaps and bounds! The site has been very well received and we certainly hope that you are all having fun poking through it. So, here we are, it's July and you have to be wondering who is thinking hockey? Well, to be frank, we at The Crease are always thinking hockey and it appears so are you! This is a great time of year to start planning out your needs for the upcoming season and for all of you that play year round, you know summertime brings the best selection of gear as this is the time of year that we are receiving our massive shipments, getting all set up for a winter of fun times at the rink!

Since this is the "What's New" section, we might as well talk new gear! Recently, Bauer Hockey launched the new Vapor series of gear. We, being The Crease, decided to run wild with the new Vapor X60 lineup to it's max capacity, the line has been extremely solid thus far and Bauer has once again stepped up with amazing lead times and quality that is second to none! We also ran wild on mid level product offering, the Vapor X50 series but threw our own twist on things, offering an upgraded version of the gear, similar to what we did one the One 75 series last year. We brought in 6 exclusive colour combos in the gear and as with Bauer, custom coloured one offs are still an option!

Reebok has once again stepped up to the plate and delivered a new lineup for this year, the Premier III series! Basically from pro right down to the entry level 7K series, Reebok once again is covering what seems is the entire goalie community in their awesome gear! Premier III pro gear sales have been massive and the 9K and 7K lineups are once again leading the way, offering very sound options for every budget, the same approach which lead them to domination in the goalie category a few years back. We matched up what we did colour wise in the Bauer X50 lineup on both 7K and 9K gear, meaning you have tons of combo options, to get the fit and feel that works best for your game!

Look for some more news in the following weeks regarding the launch of the new Reebok Revoke lineup, an exclusive to only a select few retailers in North America, in which for the first time in history, Reebok is going to allow for a laundry list of in factory modifications to be done to their gear on pro series equipment and the launch on another entry level and mid level product line with the new tribal graphic shown on Marty Turco and Justin Pogge last season.

Outside of the above, there is plenty happening here at The Crease! New helmets, such as our exclusive Eddy "Hiller" model lid and the new custom paint program we have started up on Sportmask lids with Auto Tattoo heading up these amazing renditions has been huge! Reebok has re-designed their entire skate lineup for this season and CCM has hit a home run with their new Vector series of skates as well! Graf is now in action at The Crease as well so we know we have your feet covered better than anyone out there!

The Crease has also decided that it was time to offer up the best protective lineup on earth in John Brown equipment and let me say, Johnny has not disappointed us! The Brown protective gear has been flying off the shelves here and for good reason, it is the best built protective gear on the market!
